RONIN

Visited Ronin cafe which is located near Clarke quay w/ Cheryl the other day. The street was quiet & it's a great place for photos & probably OOTD shots, but it was drizzling so we headed into the cafe quickly. My first impression of the cafe was that it looked really nice & cozy. The lights were quite dim & the music was rather loud, kind of reminded me of A&F. The decor of the place was nice, unique & really creative.

Ronin cafe is rather "unique" because there's NO signboard, no location details or website & the worst part is that they don't have menus!!! I was quite shocked when the waitress told me they didn't have menus there & then she told us everything they offered there. But because of the music, i couldn't hear the waitress properly even after she repeated herself the second time. So in the end i just ordered the only drink which i managed to catch which was the green tea latte. Cheryl got the iced one & i got the warm one & the price difference was 2 bucks i think. Which is ridiculous & way too expensive for ice. We wanted to order some food but changed our mind & didn't stay for long because the seats were really uncomfortable & after a while, it was just too noisy for me so we ended up leaving!

I guess Ronin cafe isn't all that bad & it's great to go for something light or coffee but i don't think it's possible to stay there & hang out for long. For me, it wasn't worth visiting, but still.. it's on my list!

Address: 17 Hongkong Street Singapore
Getting there: Walk from Clarke quay MRT station, just cross opposite!
